We are looking for a Water Hygiene Assessor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Water Hygiene Assessor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
As the Water Hygiene Assessor, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Water Hygiene Assessor will be responsible for:
- Conducting Legionella risk assessments both manually and using electronic systems.
- Completing and returning all risk assessment paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
- Carrying out additional operational tasks as required to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Using IT systems and PDAs effectively for reporting and documentation.
- Drawing schematic diagrams related to water systems for risk assessment purposes.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations such as ACOP L8, HSG274, BS8580-1:2019, and HTM 04-01.
To be successful for this Water Hygiene Assessor role you must have:
- A City and Guilds Risk Assessing qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in Legionella risk assessments and the water treatment industry.
- Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, BS8580-1:2019, and HTM 04-01 guidelines.
