We are looking for an Engineering Shift Team Leader who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Engineering Shift Team Leader to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. The Engineering Shift Team Leader, will be responsible for: * To effectively communicate with your shift team and ensure a diligent shift handover is completed to the oncoming shift * To attend to all critical BMS alarms and ensure that it is recorded in the BMS critical alarm electronic log and that these are escalated * To carry out housekeeping duties on a regular basis in responsible areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and equipment and system integrity * To investigate, check, test, diagnose and rectify faults to a proven level of competency on both electrical and mechanical equipment within your area of expertise or experience * To correctly record valid information on all PPM work orders to include a comprehensive description of the task taken and any recommendations for remedial action as required. To issue/receive Permits-to-Work, when fully authorised, for certain tasks and ensure the process is followed correctly * Apply to HR policies and procedures to a satisfactory standard as and when required. To always comply with agreed SSOW and HSW Policies and procedures * To establish a consistently positive working relationship with clients and end users and ensure they are aware of engineering work in their areas * Ensure completion of other routine tasks e.g. – Plant room Gemba's, correct use of on-site procedures and promote within team * Ensure all site-specific procedures and the QMS is always followed * Prompt and correct documentation of incidents. * Ensure that work orders are correctly filled in with asset details, materials used, and time spent on the task * To support planning and make appropriate arrangements for shut down maintenance and projects To be successful for this Engineering Shift Team Leader role you must have: * A good working knowledge or operational experience of a large multi building environment, including an understanding of related SLAs and KPIs * To hold a qualification in another recognised maintenance engineering discipline or to be able to demonstrate relevant experience in a maintenance field * To hold or be willing to work towards a BOAS certification * To have experience of using a BMS system to perform PPM tasks and as a diagnostic tool * Have practical experience in risk assessments, method statements & safe systems of work with regards to maintenance engineering activities * A working knowledge of computer programmes is essential (MS Office) and experience of Smartsheets, Teams and Excel would be an advantage. An ability to produce reports and be capable of maintaining electronic records * Knowledge of GxP would be an advantage. Experience of a CMMS/CAFM system is required. Prior knowledge of EAM would be an advantage * Have knowledge of COSHH, LOLER and PUWER regulations and other EHS legislation. Latest BS7671 Wiring regulations * One of the following: * a) C&G Electrotechnical Course 2357, 2356 or equivalent * b) C&G Electrical Installation Course 2330/2360 or equivalent * c) C&G Level 2/3 in HVAC/Air Conditioning/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
