Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. As the Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering services across a complex environment, ensuring safe, compliant and high-performing estates delivery. The Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage engineering maintenance and estates services, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and HTMs/HBNs
- Oversee PPM, lifecycle planning and risk management to minimise disruption to clinical operations
- Act as Authorised Person / Lead Authorised Person and ensure safe systems of work are followed
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders and external partners
- Drive performance, continuous improvement and value for money across engineering services
To be successful for this Senior Engineering Manager role you must have:
- Relevant engineering/FM qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, IWFM or equivalent)
- Significant experience in a senior technical leadership role within FM or healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of compliance, engineering standards and safe systems of work
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong understanding of healthcare estates, PFI contracts and statutory compliance
