Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
As the Mobile Mechanical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Mobile Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and repairing installations such as:
- Ventilation systems (AHU, Intake/extract).
- Heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.).
- Booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters.
To be successful for this Mobile Mechanical Engineer role you must have:
- Experience within a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment.
- Relevant qualifications required e.g. C&G Level 3 or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.
- A valid full driving licence and be IT literate.
- The capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Willingness to participate in the On-Call.
- Good verbal and written communication and the ability to use a mobile device.
