Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mechanical Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Mechanical Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Mechanical Manager, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Mechanical Manager will be responsible for:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the on-site engineering workforce.
- Ensure that all technical services provided align with contractual obligations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review site technical documents utilising sound engineering concepts and technical expertise to validate compliance with contractual obligations.
- Analyse complex information, identify critical points and draft concise communication with a high level of technical surety that various stakeholders can digest.
- Develop, implement, and deliver technical improvement plans.
- Take personal responsibility and accountability for actions, constantly striving to improve and exceed expectations and ensuring safety and quality are never compromised.
