Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Painter & Decorator to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Painter & Decorator who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
As the Painter & Decorator, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for:
- Carry out painting and decorating tasks across various client sites to a high standard
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and client expectations
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair works
- Record accurate maintenance data, including materials used and time taken
- Identify and report defects, vulnerabilities, and scope issues to improve service delivery
To be successful for this Painter & Decorator role you must have:
- Experience in facilities management, construction, or building maintenance environments
- Relevant qualification (City & Guilds Level 2/3) in Painting & Decorating or similar trade
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair work
