We are looking for an M&E Site Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Our client is a specialist UK construction and maintenance contractor, delivering high-quality refurbishment and installation projects.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an M&E Site Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

The M&E Site Manager will be responsible for

  • Manage day-to-day site operations across mechanical and electrical installation, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate site teams, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site-specific risk assessments.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues and delays promptly.
  • Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure works are completed to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, labour records, material deliveries, and progress updates.

To be successful for this M&E Site Manager role you must have

  • Minimum 2–3 years' proven experience as a Site Manager
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Hands-on and flexible approach to working on-site.
