Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Asbestos Analyst to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for an Asbestos Analyst who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Asbestos Analyst will be responsible for:
- Ensure all asbestos-related work is carried out in accordance with GPD 4 (‘Air Sampling, Fibre Counting, 4SC and Certificate for Reoccupation procedures’), General Quality Procedures, and current asbestos regulations.
- Provide quality services and technical information to clients, compile recommendations, review reports, and ensure all reporting is completed to required standards and timescales.
- Participate in audits, attend meetings and training, arrange client/contractor meetings, and report any occurrences requiring insurer or legal notification.
- Provide technical advice, prepare health and safety risk assessments, and support compliance of staff under your control.
- Support business objectives by undertaking additional duties, maintaining professional standards, and demonstrating experience within the asbestos field.
To be successful for this Asbestos Analyst role you must have:
- The BOHS P403 and BOHS P404.
- The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 3 Certificate for Asbestos Air Monitoring Analysts.
- The BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
