Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out routine planned maintenance in line with scheduled dates along with reactive repairs.
- Working across critical infrastructure - UPS systems, Generators, BMS, HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks and reactive tasks are reported and recorded on to the CAFM system.
- Assisting with general building maintenance activities as required.
- Maintaining high standards of work in line with current company policies and procedures and reporting any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may result in failure of service delivery, or risk to health and safety, or the environment.
- Ensuring own work and the work of those under supervision is completed in a safe and diligent manner.
To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have:
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working across critical infrastructure.
- 17th/18th edition IEE wiring regulations.
- Experience using a range of maintenance equipment.
- IPAF 3A & 3B and basic mechanical knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974).
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings, good problem-solving and decision-making skills, and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
