Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

This role sits with one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

The Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring standards are maintained and liaising with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to address concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with business risk management procedures and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, including CAFM system updates.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to client liaison, ensuring effective communication and escalation of concerns where necessary.
  • Support operational requirements including participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, strong teamwork, leadership qualities, and a ‘can do' attitude while maintaining high standards across electrical and building services systems.

To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have

  • Substantial practical experience with a comprehensive knowledge of all building services disciplines, LV systems and networks, standby generator and environmental systems.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
  • Experience in a technical estates or facilities management environments, including L.

V networks & stand-by generators.
