Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

The Mobile Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Carry out routine PPM, Planned Maintenance, Reactive tasks and Electrical Installation work in line with scheduled dates.
  • Support the operational strategy for critical services, ensuring compliance and high operational performance for M&E, general maintenance and soft services.
  • Undertake basic maintenance tasks including UPS systems, batteries, generators, data centre equipment, and switchgear operations.
  • Complete frontline engineering tasks, site supervision duties, and maintain high levels of Health & Safety and Statutory compliance.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time and participate in the on-call rota while collaborating closely with other mobile engineers.

To be successful for this Mobile Electrical Engineer role you must have:

  • Experience working in a commercial or critical environment, with an understanding of data centre operations.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent Electrical Qualification (2391 Inspection & Testing desirable).
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong compliance standards and high-quality engineering delivery.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
