We are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with contractual obligations and statutory requirements
- Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance tasks and system breakdowns
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs across a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC systems
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports and asset updates, while liaising with site management to minimise disruption
Qualifications
- Recognised Air Conditioning / HVAC qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
- Valid F-Gas certification (essential)
- Proven experience delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance within a commercial or industrial environment
- Good understanding of health & safety compliance requirements
- Full UK driving licence
