We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. As the Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for: * Perform electrical distribution safety checks, PAT testing, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive maintenance tasks. * Conduct visual inspections, emergency lighting testing, and reactive first-time fix repairs in line with BS7671 standards. * Collaborate with the core electrical team and liaise with the in-house projects team for installation works and testing. * Ensure all work complies with building statutory requirements and health and safety regulations. * Regularly monitor and inspect electrical equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme. * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and inspection activities. To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have: * NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 electrical qualification(s). * Valid 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate. * Minimum of 2 years practical experience post-qualification (desirable). * C&G 2391 Test and Inspection certification (desirable). * Strong knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations and good electrical working practices. * Good understanding of health and safety and building statutory requirements. * Ability to work methodically with attention to detail and high safety standards. * Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
