Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mechanical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Interpret and make judgements across a wide range of issues, understanding the complexity of pre-planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, unplanned events and emergencies.
- Diagnose and repair faults in engineering, electrical and/or plumbing installations, plant and equipment.
- Delivering high standards of workmanship across complex systems and understanding the relationship between mechanical and electrical systems.
- Actively monitor the CAFM system to ensure all tasks are assigned within appropriate timescales and issues are resolved proactively.
- Observe statutory requirements including health and safety, Electricity at Work Regulations, asbestos, legionella and COSHH regulations.
To be successful for this Mechanical Engineer role you must have:
- Experience diagnosing and repairing faults across engineering, electrical and/or plumbing systems.
- NVQ level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- IOSH Working safely.
- Completion of a structured training programme in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering for a minimum of 3 years.
