Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an M&E Project Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for an M&E Project Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The M&E Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Delivering projects effectively, ensuring value for money, compliance with client methodologies, clear milestones, defined roles, and strong project documentation.
- Leading project governance, including progress reporting, programme development, monthly reviews, and robust change control communication.
- Owning Health & Safety performance, ensuring CDM compliance, maintaining risk registers, and promoting quality and continuous improvement.
- Managing commercial and financial performance, covering budgets, cost control, cash flow, CVRs, procurement support, subcontract negotiations, and contract compliance.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships, fostering collaboration across clients, suppliers, project teams, and the wider supply chain.
To be successful for this M&E Project Manager role you must have:
- Proven project management experience across pre-construction and construction phases.
- Strong construction knowledge, planning capability, and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
- Degree in construction/surveying (desirable).
- Professional membership: RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE, MIET, or APM (desirable).
- MEP experience (desirable).
- Health & Safety qualification: NEBOSH, NVQ Level 6, IOSH (desirable).
