Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Civils Project Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

We are looking for a Civils Project Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. As the Civils Project Manager, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Civils Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Plan projects using Microsoft Project or similar programs
  • Identify and check contents of Consultants Proposals, qualifications list, design information to be able to produce designs to meet client's requirements.
  • Undertake a value engineering exercise where appropriate at an early stage in the design process.
  • Build, maintain and manage a central design library to ensure we maximise previous designs and learnings to maximise efficiency on designs
  • Provide guidance and support to contracts to ensure compliance with BIM requirements and compliance with contractual design requirements
  • Undertake and frequently update BIM maturity assessments of all suppliers throughout the life of a project
  • Select appropriate tender lists for construction and answer any queries from tendering parties.
  • Asset data collection and communication

To be successful for this Civils Project Manager role you must have:

  • Experienced Project Manager within Design and Construction.
  • You will have an understanding of the full process of RIBA stages and hold extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislations.
  • Holder of valid CSCS card and SMSTS.
  • Have a good understanding of RIBA stages.
  • Well-developed Technical Construction knowledge.
  • Knowledge of current Building Regulations and understanding M&E designs.
  • Experience of projects achieving BREEAM/DREAM ratings.
  • AutoCAD literate.
  • Knowledge and review of BIM models.
