Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Chef to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. We are looking for an Chef who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. The Chef, will be responsible for: * Maintain the smooth running of the kitchen and server area at all times * Ensure service complies with legislation and relevant standards * Provide daily advice, coaching, and support to staff * Coordinate daily kitchen and servery operations * Allocate tasks and ensure efficient use of resources * Oversee and prepare food, considering special dietary requirements * Ensure food meets high standards for residents and staff * Coach and support staff and residents to enhance performance * Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation, and best practices * Monitor staff and resident performance daily * Assist in searching residents as necessary for safety and security * Monitor and account for all equipment and materials * Maintain accurate documentation and labelling * Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and servery areas * Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment * Handle routine queries and escalate when necessary * Receive and securely store supplies * Identify and escalate incidents affecting safety or operations To be successful for this Chef role you must have: * Level 2 Food Hygiene certification If you feel you have the necessary skills set and experience to perform this Chef role, and you are interested in an opportunity offering unparalleled career development, please apply now
