Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out operational and maintenance activities as directed
- Working as directed to ensure timely completion of PPM's and reactive work to SLA's
- Providing a customer focused service and a high standard of planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Proactively involved in the on-going technical evaluation of all plant and equipment, suggestion of improvements where appropriate
- Accurately recording and reporting of maintenance activity to ensure the CAFM System is correctly updated
- Supporting the Shift Engineering Teams to ensure correct operation of the critical services
- Ensuring the maintenance of accurate plant records, information and reporting systems
- Taking responsibility for ensuring services are delivered in accordance with site and best practice processes and procedures
To be successful for this Electrical Engineer role you must have:
- Apprentice served electrical engineer or NVQ level 3 qualified
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and procedures
- Demonstrable experience in operating and fault finding complex and integrated M&E systems including Transformers, LV, Generators, UPS, Electrical distribution, BMS, Air Conditioning, Fire suppression systems, compressed air systems
