Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a HVAC Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a HVAC Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

The HVAC Engineer, will be responsible for

  • Maintain, service and repair HVAC and associated building services equipment within retail environments.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding to client queries and keeping them informed of all site activities.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory compliance works.
  • Supervise and assist contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring all works comply with statutory and safety requirements.
  • Complete all work-related documentation accurately and within required timescales.

To be successful for this HVAC Engineer role you must have

  • City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience within a maintenance or facilities management environment.
  • Strong understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and building statutory compliance.
  • Ability to manually handle tools and equipment up to 20kg, work at heights, and ascend/descend vertical access equipment.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to participate in a call-out rota.
