You’ll be making real-time credit decisions while also using SQL and Python to support wider portfolio analysis. Whether you’re an experienced underwriter with a growing interest in analytics, or already blending both worlds, this role gives you the chance to stretch yourself and make an impact.
To be successful, you’ll need experience underwriting unsecured personal loans or be an analyst who is happy/comfortable to help with the Underwriting side too. You’ll also have a good understanding of credit risk. You’ll also need to be comfortable working independently, spotting risks, and making confident calls that balance risk with growth.
- Reviewing and assessing consumer credit applications across a growing portfolio
- Spotting risk and fraud, and making clear, well-reasoned credit decisions
- Supporting analytics projects using SQL and Python (bonus)
