A high-growth, award-winning SaaS EdTech start-up is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join the team. If you’re the kind of dev who wants real product ownership, a tight-knit team, and the chance to shape the direction of an entire app, this one’s for you.
But first, the good stuff:
- Unlimited holiday – most of the team takes 32–35 days, plus office closes for around 2 weeks over Christmas
- Remote-friendly – very flex on hours, no pressure to commute every week
- MacBook and AirPods – top-tier kit to help you work from home confidently
- Private healthcare – opt-in, available to all UK-based staff
- Collaborative culture – founder, engineers, and designers all work side by side
- Equity & recognition – share scheme available, results are always rewarded
They’re already a market leader in their space with 21M+ annual page views, a #1-rated app across both app stores, and 1 in 4 UK students using their platform to apply to uni. Now they’re aiming to double that, and your work will directly shape that growth.
So, what will you actually be doing? This is a hands-on iOS role with a fast-growing product and an experienced team. You’ll help implement designs that support a seamless uni search experience, collaborate with back-end and design, and take real ownership of the app's future direction.
You’ll write clean, scalable Swift/SwiftUI code, shape the architecture, and lay the foundations for a growing mobile function. This is ideal if you’re ready to step into a lead-track role without all the corporate layers.
What they’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ commercial iOS experience (Swift/SwiftUI)
- Solid experience building apps that scale, with good performance and UX
- Strong understanding of OOP, functional programming, and modern design patterns
- Confident working with REST APIs and GraphQL
- A proactive mindset and ability to work independently
- Someone who cares about product quality, not just shipping features
- Able to get into London occasionally for team days (monthly is fine)
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a product-led, fast-moving team where your input will shape the roadmap, the product, and eventually the mobile function itself.
