A long-standing UK bank is looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to help build on the solid foundations already in place. If you’ve got a good mix of hands-on experience and a wider view of how governance should work, this one’s worth a look.
This is a business that keeps things steady and simple. They’ve grown carefully, they look after their people, and they take the time to invest properly in the areas that matter. Data governance here is not just a checklist. It’s something they genuinely care about getting right, and you’ll be joining a team where your work is backed and respected.
You’ll be focusing mainly on Product Sales Data, helping to shape policies, improve controls and support live projects from the ground up. You’ll also take ownership of things like policy reviews, data standards, and making sure their data dictionary and tooling stays consistent and usable. The framework is already in place, but they need someone who can help keep it running smoothly and push it forward where it makes sense.
So, if you:
- Have experience designing or reviewing controls and governance standards
- Know how to support remediation, policy reviews or root cause work
- Are confident working with regulatory or bureau data
- Can track issues, clean up messy reporting, and help others stay on track
- Have a good working knowledge of tools like SQL, Tableau, Alteryx or Informatica
Then we’d love to speak with you. And so will they.
Extra points if you also:
- Are familiar with BCBS 239 principles and documenting data lineage
- Know how to use Informatica IDQ, Analyst and Meta Manager
- Understand how data warehouses are built and how to model data logically
- Have experience with Irish CCR or similar reporting rules
We’re happy to send over the full spec or chat through what makes this team a great one to be part of. Just let us know what works best for you.
