This is a fantastic opportunity to join a consultancy that’s small, founder-led and trusted by some of the best-known names in banking. The team may be lean, but the work is meaningful. They’re a thoughtful, technically strong group of people doing high-quality work across credit risk, modelling and analytics.
After a number of exciting project wins, they’re now looking for experienced credit risk modellers to take the lead across retail IRB portfolios. You’ll be involved in model build and/or review and validation work, while helping clients navigate changing regulatory expectations and delivering real insight along the way.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience across IRB modelling or validation in retail credit
- A solid understanding of PD, LGD or EAD methodologies
- Experience owning workstreams or delivering directly to clients
- Comfort working with complex data and regulatory requirements
- A structured, independent approach to technical delivery
Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of IRB model build or review projects for major clients
- Work closely with clients to understand scope, priorities and risks
- Carry out robust documentation and communicate findings clearly
- Challenge assumptions and contribute to internal best practice
- Represent the consultancy with confidence and professionalism
