Job Description
Trainee/Apprentice Production Engineer
Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to learn all aspects of their business. You will work through a 3-year Trainee programme with the view to succeeding in becoming a Production Engineer. You will attend internal and day release courses as requested in order to become skilled in your role.
Responsibilities:
Follow the schedule listed in the training specification program.Learn and develop skills essential to becoming a production Engineer.Support the department in all aspects of production.Successfully complete all training courses.Ensure high quality standards are achieved and maintained on any work produced.Support the company with installations, training, demonstrations, exhibits and customer field service visits when requested nationally or internationally.Ensure all relevant documentation is prepared, available and completed where necessary ensuring it is received by the appropriate person on time.Comply with instructions and support any requests for assistanceAssist with product maintenance, movement and installations internally as required.Maintain safe working practises within the working environment and maintain a clean and tidy workshop area.Maintain all tools.
Within the 3 years, you will learn about Workshop, Production and you will gain Mechanical and Technical skills. You will be trained in refurbishments, PDI’s, inspection, operations, assembly and more.
