Our client is a remote working business in the Kingston area and they are seeking a temporary accounts assistant/credit controller to join their team. You will have strong credit control skills and experience, good all round accounts knowledge and you will be able to work 37 hours per week. You will have experience of using Xero, strong credit control skills and you will live locally to the Kingston upon Thames area.
The role will cover:
- Credit control
- Royalty management
- Reconciliation
- Customer service
- Project management
- Payroll specific to our client's business
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
- Excellent Excel skills
- Tech Savvy with the ability to understand and pick up different accounting software
- Payroll and currency experience an advantage
- Good communicator
- Highly organised
Duties include:
- Xero posting; receipts credit cards, payments
- Coding and inputting ledger invoices
- Checking and preparing agent expense receipts and mileage, inputting on Sage and Xero
- Bank reconciliations: multiple accounts and currencies
- Reconciling and resolving queries in debtors and creditors accounts
- Assisting with accounting queries and ad hoc projects
- Accounts and admin filing
- Credit control, purchase ledger and handling of royalties
