Hours: Mon-Fri 8am – 5.00pm or 7am-4pm

Our client takes care of some of the most prestigious car brands in the world, but as a growing family-run business, they also take care of our staff with good conditions and regular training. They are looking for an experienced MET Technician to join their manufacturer-approved Paint & Body Centre. As an MET Technician, you will play a critical role in the vehicle repair process. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, dismantling, repairing, and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently and safely, meeting both customer expectations and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Removing and fitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components on a variety of vehicle makes and models following accident damage
  • Removing and refitting non-structural body panels
  • Identifying the extent of vehicle damage
  • Installing new components
  • Ensure all repairs are completed to manufacturer and safety standards
  • Collaborate with panel beaters, painters, and estimators to ensure efficient workflow
  • Conduct road tests to confirm proper functionality after repairs
  • Use specialist equipment and tools, maintaining them in good condition
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times

  • MET Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of previous MET experience within the automotive industry
