Warehouse Night Shift Operator 🌙 📍 Location: Slough 💷 Salary & Benefits 💰 Starting Salary: £30,000 per year 📈 Salary Increase: Rising to £32,500 upon successful completion of your probationary period. 🎁 What is on Offer * 🌙 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (19:00 – 07:00) * 💷 Excellent overtime opportunities, particularly during February, March and December * 🌴 20 days paid annual leave * 👕 Company uniform provided * 🦺 PPE allowance * 🏦 Company pension scheme * 🤝 Additional earning opportunities by covering annual leave for your opposite shift * 📈 Opportunity for salary progression after probation 📦 Key Responsibilities * 📦 Manual handling of all types of cargo, including chilled, frozen and ambient perishable goods. * 🚜 Operating a range of Counterbalance Forklift Trucks (1.5T–8T) safely and efficiently. * 📋 Picking, packing, splitting and sorting shipments accurately and within required timescales. * 🚛 Loading and unloading company vehicles, from vans through to articulated lorries, as well as visiting vehicles. * ✈️ Building, sorting and stacking aircraft pallets while recording all movements using the warehouse computer system and generating the relevant paperwork. * 💻 Maintaining accurate warehouse stock records, both electronically and on paper. * 🤝 Working closely with the office team, supervisors and warehouse management to ensure smooth night shift operations. * 🧹 Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and ensuring a clean, safe working environment. ✅ What They're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll have: * ✔️ A minimum of 3 years' warehouse experience * ✔️ Previous experience within the Air Freight/Air Cargo industry * ✔️ A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (B1 Classification) (B2 is desirable but not essential) * ✔️ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * ✔️ The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team * ✔️ A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to health and safety ⏰ Working Hours 4 Days On / 4 Days Off 🌙 19:00 – 07:00 Enjoy a consistent shift pattern that offers an excellent work-life balance, together with regular opportunities to boost your earnings through overtime.
