Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their dynamic shipping and sales team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the sales department, assisting with administrative tasks and contributing to the overall efficiency of the shipping and sales process.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing all shipments across the World and ensuring they arrive on time.
  • Organising reliable couriers and building relationships with them.
  • Dealing with shipments that go wrong and having the knowledge and ability to rearrange and resolve shipping issues.
  • Processing sales orders and maintaining accurate records in the sales database.
  • Supporting the sales team by preparing quotes & proformas and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products to effectively assist customers.
  • Taking telephone orders and assisting with customer queries.
  • Processing returns and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for any other administration tasks required.

Skills:

  • Shipping administration experience.
  • Confident on the phone with strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential; familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key.
