Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Estimator to become a key player in their fast-paced, high-performance team. As their Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in assessing vehicle damage, preparing precise repair estimates, and working closely with customers, insurers, and technicians.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles from structural and body issues to mechanical and interior problems.
- Use your sharp eye and industry knowledge to accurately estimate parts, labour, and paint costs, whether it’s a quick fix or a major overhaul.
- Build clear, itemized work orders to ensure a smooth repair process for both customers and technicians.
- Explain repair plans with clarity and confidence, addressing questions from customers, adjusters, and technicians alike.
- Champion your customers by negotiating with insurers to secure the best coverage and rates.
- Keep meticulous records of estimates, work completed, and relevant documentation.
- Partner closely with body shop technicians to deliver top-tier, efficient repairs.
- Determine salvage value for total-loss vehicles with precision.
