Our client is looking for an experienced and skilled Paint Sprayer to join their team in Surbiton on a temporary basis, with the potential for the assignment to be extended.
If you have a keen eye for detail, take pride in delivering a high-quality finish and have hands‑on experience working with paints, lacquers and spray equipment, then you could be the person they are looking for.
THE ROLE
As a Temporary Paint Sprayer, you’ll play an important role in preparing, colour-matching and finishing cabinetry, furniture and other items to a high standard.
You’ll work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time and to the required quality.
- Working Hours: Full time – 8:00am or 8:30am start
- Contract: Temporary – approximately 1 week, with the possibility of a longer assignment
- WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include
- Setting up and operating painting and spraying equipment
- Sanding, preparing and priming cabinetry, furniture and other surfaces
- Selecting, matching and mixing colours
- Applying fillers, primers, topcoats, activators, lacquers and other finishes
- Cleaning, maintaining and repairing spray guns and associated equipment
- Maintaining and cleaning spray booths and work areas
- Working from drawings, photographs, computer graphics and detailed technical drawings
- Supporting and instructing colleagues with preparation work
- Managing multiple projects and maintaining an organised workflow
- Procuring materials when required
- Resolving customer issues and ensuring a high level of satisfaction
- Working to agreed deadlines and budgets
- Following and promoting all company Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Communicating regularly with your line manager to establish an efficient daily workflow
- Carrying out other reasonable duties as required by management
