Location: Walton on Thames area

Salary: Based on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 until 17.30

Our client is seeking a Production Manager who will be responsible for getting all work cleaned and restored within the contracted time scales. You must ensure that all reporting and systems information is up to date and correct and that the information is 100% accurate. You will be responsible for the production team to ensure that best practice and that all company policy and procedures are followed and that the environment is safe and suitable for work.

The Person

Our client appreciates that it is unlikely that a suitable candidate will have enough of the relevant experience with less than five years’ time in the cleaning industry, so you will need to be fit and energetic and be able to train staff in the day to day duties that are needed to be performed. As the role involves managing the production team, management experience is preferred.

Duties

  • Oversee and coordinate the production process consisting of, but not limited to: Cleaning machines, washing and drying process, use of smoke decontamination equipment, ironing, packing, storing and ensuring that sufficient resource is available to reach weekly completion targets.
  • Ensure that data entry on to RestorNet is completed and reports are provided within specified deadlines.
  • Maintain Quality Control checks on garments leaving production.
  • Ensure accurate storage information is maintained.
  • Complete maintenance and machine logs and update as required.
  • Ensure sufficient levels of consumables are maintained and ordered as required.
  • Maintain training records for production staff.
