Salary range: £38,000 – £45,000 (subject to candidate’s experience)

About the Role

Skillfluence Ltd designs and delivers fast-paced start-up accelerators and supportive entrepreneurship and commercialisation programmes for entrepreneurs, founders and academics. We’re looking for an experienced Business Systems Manager to ensure that all the digital tools are not just working, but working together to make the business more efficient, data-driven, and user-friendly. Someone who has the expertise to review and build our tech stack to bind our sales, operations, and delivery components seamlessly together. This role is the bridge between IT and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM System:
  • Implementation & Customisation: Set up and tailor CRM platforms to meet our sales, marketing, and customer service needs
  • Integration: Connect the CRM to key tools like email marketing, websites, and finance systems.
  • User Management & Training: Control access levels, onboard users, and train staff to maximise CRM value
  • Data Quality & Reporting: Maintain clean, accurate data and build dashboards and reports for leadership.
  • SharePoint & Intranet Platforms:
    • Structure & Permissions: Build and manage libraries, folders, workflows, and permissions.
    • Collaboration & Automation: Set up document sharing, approvals, and smooth integration with Teams and Outlook.
    • Training & Governance: Empower staff with training and promote best practices in document management.
  • Websites:
    • Oversight & Maintenance: Manage hosting, backups, updates, and ensure reliable uptime.
    • User Experience & SEO: Keep our sites fast, mobile-friendly, and optimised for search engines.
    • Feature Rollouts: Coordinate new tools, forms, booking systems, or e-commerce features with web developers or vendors.
  • Other Digital Tools & Platforms:
    • Tool Selection & Procurement: Identify and recommend new digital tools for project management, analytics, and automation.
    • Integration & Automation: Use platforms like Zapier, Power Automate, or custom APIs to streamline operations.
    • Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the go-to person for technical support and workflow set-up.

    Essential Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems and how systems work together
    • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, Microsoft 365 (especially SharePoint), and Web CMSs
    • Familiarity with project management and automation tools
    • Knowledge of data governance, user management, and system security
    • Excellent communication skills to support non-technical teams (Marketing, Operations, HR)
    • Confident working with Mac/Apple devices

    Desirable:

    • Experience with low-code/no-code tools
    • Working knowledge of MS Exchange, Azure, and Microsoft 365 admin
