Skillfinder Group is supporting a leading global financial institution on a major collateral management initiative and is seeking an experienced SimCorp Collateral SME to join a high-profile transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist with deep expertise in collateral management processes and strong hands-on experience with the SimCorp platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and advise on collateral management processes across OTC and ETD products
  • Configure and optimise collateral workflows within SimCorp
  • Support exposure calculation, margining processes, and collateral agreement setup
  • Drive best practice across collateral operations and front-to-back processes
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, risk, and technology teams
  • Provide SME guidance on platform capabilities, configuration options, and implementation approaches

Required Experience

  • Collateral Management Expertise
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Variation Margin (VM) and Initial Margin (IM)
    • Bilateral and centrally cleared collateral processes
    • Credit Support Annex (CSA) agreements and margin terms
    • Exposure calculation and margin call generation
    • Dispute management and collateral settlements
    • Collateral allocation, substitution, and reuse
    • Cash and securities collateral management
    • Eligibility schedules, concentration limits, and haircut methodologies
    • Front-to-back collateral lifecycle within derivatives environments
  • SimCorp Expertise
  • Proven experience with:
    • SimCorp Collateral Management module
    • Exposure calculation configuration and setup
    • CSA and collateral agreement configuration
    • Margining workflows and process automation
    • Integration with valuation and pricing engines
    • IBOR exposure generation
    • Eligibility rules, thresholds, haircuts, and minimum transfer amounts
    • Collateral optimisation capabilities
    • Custodian and triparty agent connectivity
    • Understanding of SimCorp standard functionality and customisation boundaries

Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience delivering collateral management solutions within asset management, banking, or capital markets environments
