- We are looking for an experienced
Sim Corp Consultant to support a major investment management transformation programme, with a particular focus on fee management, investment accounting and month-end close .
This is a hands-on functional consulting role for someone with strong
Sim Corp accounting/ABOR experience who can work across accounting, investment operations, technology and implementation teams.
You will help configure and validate fee processes, establish robust month-end procedures, lead testing and ensure the solution is ready to transition into BAU operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and validate investment management fees within Sim Corp , including management fees, performance fees, ad-hoc fees, fee credits, operational expenses, accruals and true-ups.
- Support Sim Corp accounting configuration and ensure fee-related accounting processes are correctly reflected within the platform.
- Design and document the end-to-end month-end close process , covering data dependencies, processing timelines, system sequencing, controls and workflows.
- Develop workflows and process documentation for fee accruals, adjustments, allocations and accounting close activities.
- Create and execute functional test scripts across
SIT and UAT , investigating issues and supporting their resolution.
- Configure and validate reporting for month-end close, management reporting and external financial reporting.
- Develop a comprehensive
Month-End Close Runbook to support ongoing operations.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams.
- Work closely with investment, accounting, operations, technology and implementation stakeholders throughout the programme.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with
Sim Corp / Sim Corp Dimension , ideally across Investment Accounting, ABOR, Fund Accounting or related accounting functionality.
- Experience configuring or supporting investment management fees and fee accruals within Sim Corp .
- Strong understanding of investment accounting, including accruals, reconciliations, general ledger processes and month-end close.
- Experience with
Sim Corp configuration , potentially including Finance Schemes, GL/posting rules, accounting workflows or related functionality.
- Proven experience working on major
Sim Corp implementations or transformation programmes .
- Strong SIT/UAT experience, including developing test scenarios, executing testing and resolving functional issues.
- Experience creating process maps, operational procedures, runbooks and other functional documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with accounting, operations, investment, technology and senior business stakeholders.
- Particularly Relevant Experience
- We would be especially interested in speaking with consultants who have worked with
Sim Corp Fee Management, Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, ABOR, Finance Schemes, GL configuration, fee accruals, NAV/reconciliations or month-end processing .
This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced Sim Corp professional to take ownership of a critical functional workstream and play a key role in establishing the client's future-state investment accounting and operational processes.
