A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a highly experienced Principal SimCorp Dimension Front Office Consultant to lead a strategic Front Office (FO) scoping and transformation initiative. This is a senior stakeholder-facing role requiring deep SimCorp Dimension expertise, strong consulting capability, and the ability to lead workshops, define future-state operating models, and guide Front Office architecture decisions within a complex investment management environment.
Working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, you will lead the Front Office stream, helping shape the target operating model and ensuring alignment with current SimCorp standards and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Front Office discovery, analysis and scoping activities.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to define requirements and future-state processes.
- Review and update investment structures in line with SimCorp standards and business needs.
- Assess and optimise model portfolios, cash buckets and SAAM configurations.
- Support Order Manager deployment and integration with multiple trading venues.
- Review and advise on Cash Viewer implementation and usage.
- Prepare IBOR analytics foundations including: Macros, Security Group Codes, UDKRs.
- Support Asset Manager Foundations initiatives to enable Front Office APIs and integration with internal applications.
- Provide expertise across order-based trading workflows and Front Office operating models.
- Deliver recommendations and best-practice guidance across SimCorp Dimension Front Office capabilities.
Required Experience
- Extensive experience as a SimCorp Dimension Consultant within investment management environments.
- Proven track record leading Front Office workstreams and stakeholder engagements.
- Strong knowledge of SimCorp Dimension Front Office architecture and configuration.
- Experience with investment structure design and governance, model portfolios, cash buckets, SAAM, Order Manager deployment, trading platform connectivity, Cash Viewer, Asset Manager Foundations, and IBOR analytics preparation.
- Excellent workshop facilitation and client-facing consulting skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within large-scale transformation programmes.
Asset Class Experience
- Strong understanding of order-based workflows across Equities, Fixed Income/Bonds, Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETDs), FX, CDS, IRS, REPO, FX Options, CFDs, Deposits, Swaptions, OTC Options, and CDS Swaptions.
