Are you a Cyber Security Engineer with a passion for securing AI and cloud platforms? This is a long-term contract opportunity to play a key role in shaping a large-scale AI Security Programme, working at the forefront of AI, cloud, and data protection. You’ll join a specialist AI & Data Security team, providing hands-on engineering expertise and technical leadership to ensure AI capabilities are deployed securely, responsibly, and at scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as a cybersecurity specialist for AI platforms, with hands-on involvement across Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Microsoft 365, and foundation models.
- Designing secure AI deployment patterns, guardrails, governance controls, and observability frameworks.
- Translating AI and platform risks into practical engineering solutions.
- Collaborating closely with security, engineering, and data teams to integrate AI safely into existing environments.
- Testing and validating AI models for security, performance, and reliability.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a strong security-first culture.
Essential skills:
- Strong cybersecurity engineering background with AI / ML security exposure.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure Application Gateway.
- Experience securing AI platforms and foundation models.
- Knowledge of secure AI architectures, guardrails, and governance.
- Hybrid cloud security experience.
Nice to have:
- Azure AI Foundry.
