Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a dynamic Middle Office Operations team with a strong focus on derivatives. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, offering exposure to critical post-trade processes, operational change initiatives, and systems enhancements in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Business Analyst supporting Middle Office operations for derivative products.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the derivatives lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, collateral, and reporting.
- Gather, document, and analyse business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technology teams.
- Support implementation, testing, and go-live activities.
- Identify and contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Middle Office Operations.
- Strong knowledge of derivatives, particularly Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) and Credit Default Swaps (CDS).
- Solid understanding of post-trade and lifecycle events.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Immediate or short-notice availability.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with Aladdin and/or Murex is highly desirable.
