Overview
We are hiring Front Office Business Analysts to support a growing portfolio of investment management change. This role partners with Portfolio Managers, Risk, Trading and Technology to deliver front-office enhancements, platform change and workflow optimisation across fixed income, equities and derivatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage Front Office stakeholders to capture, document and validate requirements (discovery through delivery).
- Translate investment concepts into clear user stories, functional specs, process maps and data requirements.
- Analyse and improve front-office workflows (portfolio construction, risk analytics inputs, trade/risk processes).
- Define test scenarios and support SIT/UAT, ensuring solutions meet front office needs.
- Work closely with Technology and vendors to design solutions, manage dependencies and resolve issues.
- Contribute to BA standards and best practice as part of a growing permanent team.
Required Experience & Knowledge
- Demonstrable BA experience within asset / investment management environments.
- Strong Front Office domain understanding across fixed income, equities and derivatives, ideally including:
- Portfolio management & construction
- Risk concepts: duration, tracking error, risk decomposition
- Fixed income: bond coupon calculations, pricing/yield concepts
Desirable Platforms / Tools
- Experience with front office / risk / OMS platforms is highly valued, including (but not limited to):
- MSCI Barra
- Axioma
- Bloomberg AIM (BBG AIM)
- SimCorp Dimension and/or BlackRock Aladdin

- Analytical, detail-oriented, delivery-focused.
