- We are seeking a skilled
- Back-end & Infrastructure Developer with expertise in
- Java and
Node. js/Type Script to join our development team on a contract basis.
You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing Back End systems, supporting infrastructure needs, and refactoring existing Node. js codebases to Java as part of a strategic platform alignment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-impact project within a collaborative environment, without requiring prior banking industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop scalable Back End applications using Java, Node. js and Type Script.
- Lead the migration of Node. js applications to Java to align with infrastructure strategy.
- Work closely with centralised
Dev Ops teams to manage pipeline deployments and system monitoring.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and related tools.
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and efficient workflows.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and certificates.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in Java and Node. js/Type Script development.
- Strong understanding of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Git Hub Actions.
- Solid SQL database knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Ability to deliver high-quality solutions within tight deadlines.

- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience designing APIs with Graph QL.
