About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about improving visibility and driving organic traffic? SkilledUp Life is looking for a Search Optimization Volunteer to help us increase discoverability on search engines, especially Google, and improve our ranking for relevant keywords. In this role, you will support SkilledUp Life and our startup partners by conducting keyword research, optimizing content, and helping implement on-page and technical SEO best practices. You will also help us grow visibility on generative engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your SEO skills in a live environment with real impact.
Activities:
- Conduct SEO audits and keyword research for SkilledUp Life and startup partners.
- Optimize website content and structure to improve on-page SEO.
- Collaborate with content writers to ensure alignment with SEO goals.
- Monitor performance using tools like Google Search Console and analytics.
- Explore and implement methods to enhance visibility across generative engines.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve SEO strategy.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar.
- Interest or experience in generative AI engines and discovery optimization.
- Ability to work remotely and manage your own schedule.
Duration:
- 3 hrs. per day Monday to Friday
