Purpose of Role
As Product Manager Volunteer, you will guide SkilledUp Life’s product from V1 to V2, focusing on data management, sprint planning, and bug tracking. You will ensure smooth cross‑functional collaboration, quality assurance, and continuous improvement, leading the product team and maintaining documentation.
Key Activities
- Ticket & Bug Management: Review, test, and create GitHub tickets; improve workflows; prioritize bugs; coordinate resolution with developers and QA.
- Sprint Planning & Developer Coordination: Plan weekly sprints, assign tickets, track progress, and lead discussions on challenges and metrics.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct functionality testing (e.g., volunteer registration, profiles), verify bug fixes against requirements, and review system documentation.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR on performance tracking and engagement; align priorities with support, QA, and product teams.
- Strategy Development & Documentation: Build data migration and roadmap strategies; update product documentation, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify workflow issues, propose solutions for bugs and inconsistencies, and refine strategies iteratively.
Time Commitment
3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, for 60 volunteer days (approx. 3 months). Remote role with flexibility across time zones.
