Opportunity Details

People in the Communication Team, also known as Public Relations specialists, support an organization’s external and internal communications strategies. They draft and disseminate publicity-related materials and address inquiries from media and the public. Editorial associates support internal communications by creating engaging content for various channels including mobile, daily news, company-wide e-newsletter, intranet, and others as needed.

What you will do:

You will work closely with the editorial team, attend weekly editorial meetings, and write weekly articles or news pieces. You will gain experience in CMS, style guidelines, SEO, social media, and media partnerships. This is an opportunity to participate in the editorial life of a digital technology start-up and receive high-level editorial training.

Key Responsibilities

• Content management – Responding to articles on Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Metaverse, and 3D printing with insights on structure and ideas.
• Compiling and sending Daily News each weekday.
• Managing content updates, ensuring tools and resources are functional, and moderating comments.
• Tracking industry developments and sharing insights with company executives.
• Maintaining an editorial calendar for consistent content flow.
• Editing content at the line and structural levels.
• Using WordPress, Buffer, and Canva to create engaging social media content.
• Building institutional relationships.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience in journalism, communication, or marketing (preferred)
• Knowledge of consumer electronics and retail (preferred)

Skills and Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Degree or similar education in Journalism, Communication, or Marketing
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
• Attention to detail
• Interest in technology and quick learner
• Self-starter with results-driven attitude
• Outgoing personality, professional demeanor
• Access to PC/Laptop and Internet

Acquired Skills

Develop communication, execution, PR, and marketing skills relevant to tech and social media.

More Information

This role suits newcomers or mid-level professionals with journalism or communication experience, focusing on technology. Knowledge of VR and 3D sectors is preferred.

Duration

Commit 2-3 hours daily for 3 months. Strict adherence to timeline required. Successful volunteers will receive testimonials and permission to add our company to their LinkedIn profile.
