About Gopele
Gopele is an AI-powered EdTech startup on a mission to digitally educate 1 billion learners across Africa and beyond. We provide adaptive learning in Science, Mathematics, and English through diagnostics, interactive activities, and AI tutors. Recognized at the BRICS Solutions Awards 2024, we are preparing to pilot with 150 students in January 2026.
The Role
We are seeking a UI/UX Designer volunteer to help us refine and polish the Gopele learning platform. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact education project, build your portfolio, and gain practical startup experience in EdTech.
What You’ll Do
- Refine student dashboards to be engaging, mobile-first, and user-friendly.
- Simplify teacher dashboards for easy tracking of learner progress.
- Improve admin panel usability for uploading courses and quizzes.
- Contribute to Gopele’s design system in Figma.
- Collaborate with developers and educators in weekly check-ins.
Skills Needed
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Understanding of mobile-first, low-bandwidth design.
- Creativity in gamification and interactive learning experiences.
