Outreach Specialist (Volunteer – Remote / Hybrid UK)

Prana is on a mission to revolutionise health by making proactive, personalised wellness the new norm. We’re looking for a volunteer Outreach Specialist to help us understand our target audience better—engaging fitness enthusiasts and wellness communities online to discover real insights about how they manage their health today.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how we build and position our product by uncovering real user problems, frustrations, and needs through open-ended conversations on platforms like Reddit, Discord, and Facebook groups.

What You’ll Do

1. Scout and join relevant online communities (fitness, wearable tech, health optimisation, running, Hyrox, calisthenics)
2. Start natural conversations with community members around how they track fitness, health, and wellness
3. Ask open-ended, non-leading questions to discover pain points, needs, and behaviours
4. Record or summarise insights from each conversation for the founding team
5. Spot trends, recurring frustrations, and unmet needs based on your discussions
6. Collaborate with our team to refine outreach strategies and share learnings

What We’re Looking For

• Comfortable starting authentic conversations online in a way that feels natural, not salesy
• Strong written communication skills with an empathetic, curious approach
• Experience or familiarity with Reddit, Discord, Facebook Groups, or other community platforms
• Interest in fitness, health tracking, wellness, or wearables
• Good at asking thoughtful, open-ended questions and listening for real insights
• Self-driven and organised—you’ll be managing your own discovery workflow with support from the team

Bonus Points

• Experience with customer discovery, UX research, or early-stage user interviews
• Familiarity with quantified self, biohacking, or health tech spaces
• Background in community building, online moderation, or market research
