About the Opportunity
The HR volunteer will support the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with Deal Lite's goals. They will assist in organizational development initiatives and ensure effective performance and talent management. The volunteer will engage and retain volunteers, utilize HR analytics to drive decision-making, oversee recruitment processes, and ensure a seamless onboarding and off-boarding experience for all volunteers.
Duration – 3 months – At least 2 hours per day – Part-time – Remote
Working with our CEO and Human Resource Team, your volunteer role includes:
- Collaborate with leadership to create and execute an effective HR strategy that aligns with the company's mission and values.
- Develop and implement programs that support organizational development, volunteer engagement, and retention, ensuring that volunteers are well supported and equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to Team Leads on performance management processes, including coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions where necessary.
- Work with Team Leads to identify skills gaps and create training and development plans to support talent management and career development.
- Conduct HR analytics and provide insights to management to make informed decisions about people management.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying recruitment needs to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new volunteers, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved.
Requirements – Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. – Strong attention to detail. – Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high levels of professionalism and integrity. – Ability to adapt to changes in the industry and the company's recruitment needs. – Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships. – Ability to work independently, with a results-oriented approach, and deliver on projects within the required timeframe. – Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and situations as they arise. – Availability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week. – Comfortable working remotely and using online tools and software.

The HR Volunteer will have the opportunity to develop expertise in HR strategy development, organizational development, performance management, talent management, HR analytics, recruitment, and onboarding/off-boarding processes. In addition to these core HR skills, the volunteer will also enhance their communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills through interaction with team members and external stakeholders. By contributing to the success of a purpose-driven organization, the volunteer will gain a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment, while also building their professional network and potentially opening up future career opportunities.
