Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Registered Nurse to join the work that we do for our community. This role offers flexibility, with the choice of part-time or full-time depending on what best suits your lifestyle. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, social workers, AOD specialists, and allied health staff to support clients with both physical and psychosocial health needs.
The Position: Community Registered Nurse (Mental Health) – Blacktown NSW
The Location: Blacktown NSW
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (List A).
- Minimum 3 years' clinical experience, ideally in community health or GP practice settings.
- Understanding of trauma-informed and harm minimisation frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse clients.
- Experience using clinical systems (HELIX, Best Practice or similar).
- Unrestricted driver's licence (essential for outreach work).
- BLS certificate and up-to-date CPD and immunisation requirements.
- Compassionate, adaptable, and passionate about improving healthcare access for those most in need.
- Experience working with people experiencing mental health, AOD, homelessness, or refugee-related challenges is highly regarded.
