The Position Our client is seeking an experienced Scrub Nurse / Surgical Coordinator with a strong background in plastic surgery and aesthetics to join their team in Central London.

This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and delivering exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgery.
The ideal candidate will work closely with leading plastic surgeons, ensuring compliance with medical regulations and maintaining high standards of surgical coordination.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM.
Surgical days may run longer, and there may be occasional Saturday shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities Assist plastic surgeons in the operating theatre, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
Oversee and manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Organize and maintain the theatre inventory, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
Book and prepare the theatre for surgical procedures, coordinating with the surgical team.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.
Provide patient education, supporting them through their surgical journey.
Liaise with medical professionals, suppliers, and administrative staff to ensure smooth surgical operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Requirements Registered Nurse (NMC Registered) with extensive experience in plastic surgery and aesthetics.
Strong knowledge of theatre organization, inventory management, and compliance.
Proven experience in scrubbing for plastic and aesthetic surgical procedures.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Knowledge of CQC standards and infection control protocols.
