The Position

  • Location: Remote (UK), laptop provided
  • Salary: (Band 7 / Competitive – dependent on experience) £50-£70 per hour
  • Hours: Part time (10-15 hours per week), may extend to full time
  • Contract: Permanent

Are you a passionate nurse with a talent for developing others? We are looking for a motivated and experienced Clinical Education Specialist Nurse to lead and deliver high-quality education and practice development across our client's clinical services. This is an exciting opportunity to shape learning, support student placements, and drive improvements in clinical quality and patient care.

The Role

  • You will play a key role in developing our client's workforce by:
  • Designing and delivering clinical education, training, and CPD programmes
  • Supporting newly qualified nurses, students, and support staff
  • Leading induction, preceptorship, and clinical competency frameworks
  • Working closely with universities and placement partners
  • Supporting CQC action plans through education and quality improvement
  • Acting as a clinical role model and providing supervision and mentorship

Essential Criteria

  • UK-based with full UK working rights
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration
  • Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in clinical education, practice development, or mentorship
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance, CQC standards, and quality improvement
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable

  • Teaching qualification (PGCert Education / Practice Educator / equivalent)
  • Experience working with student nurses and universities
  • Leadership or quality improvement experience
