As a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Winchester, you will lead the commercial delivery of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across a major local authority contract.

  • Leading the commercial management of multiple responsive repairs and planned maintenance workstreams.
  • Producing and reviewing CVRs, cost forecasts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Managing subcontract procurement, commercial risk and contractual performance.
  • Supporting and mentoring Assistant Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors within the commercial team.
  • Working alongside senior operational management to maximise profitability and drive commercial performance across Winchester.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor background within social housing or property services.
  • Strong commercial knowledge across responsive repairs, planned maintenance, voids or refurbishment contracts.
  • Demonstrable experience managing CVRs, forecasting, subcontract procurement and commercial reporting.
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading junior commercial staff.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across Winchester and neighbouring areas.
