An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the site team on a £30 million new build industrial scheme in Wembley, working for a Tier 1 main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering large-scale, high-quality projects. This role offers the chance to be embedded within a collaborative commercial team on a flagship project, with clear processes, strong leadership and long-term career prospects beyond project completion.
The Role
- Commercial management of a £30m new build industrial project
- Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and wider site team
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages
- Preparation and agreement of valuations, variations and final accounts
- Cost control, forecasting and reporting against project budgets
- Ensuring commercial compliance with contractual requirements
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor
- Background delivering industrial, commercial or large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial best practice
- Confident managing subcontractors and commercial risk
- Team-oriented with a proactive and professional approach
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
